Subject: Re: Bike Rack for 900 SE

If it is a hatchback, fold the rear seat down and put the bike in the back. That way you won't get flamed for using a rear mounted rack that has been known to impale pedestrians. Bikes stored inside the car are harder to steal or vandalize. The top mount rack systems can be very expensive, especially if you don't have the roof racks already. The trunk mounted, can be had for less than $70 for a top quality (Rhode Gear), but these are the design that can impale pedestrians when you back up. rick ciraulo wrote: > I'm looking to buy a bike rack for my '96 900 SE and would appreciate any > recommendations as to make, type, etc.
