If you can find it, try Militec-1 in the transmission. I have been using it since Jan 94. In both of my 900 5 spds the metallic sludge on the drain plug all but disappeared and the trans shifted a lot easier. I use it in my 87 9000S 5 spd too. The car had 145,890, when I bought it in Dec. 97. It now has 212,380. I use Militec-1 in the crankcase, trans, power steering and A/C compressor. All I will say is that it works. I won't touch Slick 50. It cost me an engine on my 83 900T in 1993. I use Castrol GTX in all of my Saabs. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
