I have a 1995 Aero. From the day I bought it I have never done the warm up or cool down that I have read so much about. My car has 140,000 miles on it.... the first 90k was mostly high speed autobahn (125+MPH) and the last 50k was city driving (orlando FL) and I have never had a problem with my turbo. I change the oil every 3000 miles with mobil 1 and a "SAAB" filter. I had an 85 9000 and did the same with it. I always did the oil change w/filter, and it had 270,000 and had the original turbo. I truly believe the oil is the difference, not the warm up and cool down.
