After '87 the exterior was changed (bumpers especially)...it looks better I
think, but that's personal opinion.   The pre-87 with the long bumpers have
a reputation for being indestructable.   the NG 900 has too many GM parts in
it for my liking...   Prices are typically £500 - £3000 for good injection
model, although I have seen some 1990/92 turbo 16 convertable models going
for £7,000....!!   Try to get at least an injection engine (if not turbo)
Turbo 8valve engines are great...
