Hey, I've been driving my Saab around the British Isles this week, and I'm only just back...I've driven it as far a John o'Groats (from Suffolk); 1,800 enjoyable miles (I also climbed Ben Nevis and I am still recovering...!) The thing is, you can do as much damage in a Metro as you can in a Rolls Royce. And any car can run away with you....but point taken... I looked into an advanced motorist's course to bring my insurance down, but aparently it doesn't have that effect :-( By the way, the classic 900 is ideal for camping out of...loads of room in the back, huge parcel shelf for making lunch on, huge flat -topped dash to store/make things on when it's raining...and accelerating a fully laden car up a steep hill is still a tremendous thrill!!
