Hi all, I recently got the A/C recharged on my '86 900 Turbo and ever since the A/C has been quite noisy. It isn't all that terrible but it doesn't sound good in any event. I have been told that it could be anything from the compressor bearing is dead to the A/C idler pulley is dead, to simply install a new belt. It only makes the noise when the A/C is on (obviously) and it makes it more when it am turning the wheel at a dead stop and I guess it's a little noisier when I am on the brakes at a stop as well. Based on that I am certain that it has something to do with the belt but that noise could come from resistance in the A/C compressor itself. The weird thing about it is that the noise is really only noticeable in the car. Someone also suggested that I add some oil to the compressor. How do I do that? I have never heard of doing such a thing before but I also used to only work on MG's before this. -- Later, Barry
