Subject: 89 9000t won't start when temp is hot outside

I have a 1989 9000T, I have owned it for 7-8 years. It has now developed a problem starting when the ambient temperature is hot. On cool or cold days it starts without a problem. On hot days the relay behind the glove box clicks, but aside from the radiator exhaust fan starting to spin --- nothing else happens until the temp outside drops to a cool and comfortable level. This problem has gotten increasing worse...... any one else experience anything like this--- I was thinking the key cylinder was going bad.
