I have a couple of funnies with my 156K 900T16 and I'm hoping for a few words of wisdom: Once warm I get plenty of vacum type hiss under the bonnet. If you pinch the pipe to the fuel regulator you can reduce it. Is it standard that they do this or a sign of being on the way out. When I first got it it seemed not so rapid after my first service. I put this down to new track rod ends controlling the power better but wonder if a leaky fuel regulator meant that the mixture has been weakened because it was to rich at idle, thus affecting the top end boost. Also first and second gears are sometimes very obstructive. I heard a rumour that puting to good an oil in the gearbox might cause such an effect (the dip stick is slightly over full and perfectly clean). Alterantively 156K is a lot of miles!! Any ideas? Cheers Pete
