Model? Year? Country? I had one of the outside mirror heads on a 1985 U.S. 900 start to come loose. The adjusting linkage was the only thing holding it to the vehicle. It appears there is a shear pin holding the mirror to the vehicle (safety requirement to protect pedestrians?) that broke. I attempted to get at the pin to replace it, but the mirror appears to be a one-piece molded assembly that I was unable to "crack". I finally put a couple of sheet metal screws through the walls between the two parts.
