Reading an auto mag last night I was horrified to find that General Motors owns SAAB, lock stock and barrel. How come a company with such a refined pedigree including aircraft design and manufacture (much of which has rubbed off onto its automobiles) has sold out? I would have thought national pride would have prevented this.
