Thomas, You seriously need a Bentley manual. The '90 should have a large hex cap on the transmission side cover (exhaust side). Unscrew it and there is a little dip stick to tell you the level. To drain it, you have to remove the differential cover of the transmission if there is not a drain plug. If there is a drain plug, It should be 12mm and will probably be quite tight.
