Subject: Re: Fuel pump relay prices.

If you just want a "limp home" solution you could take a short wire an crimp on two flat cabel shoes, then you can jump any relay that doesn„t work (fuel pump, cooling fan), costs nothing and always works (although you have to get under the hood to turn off the pump or fan, but as a limp home i think it„s worth it). One thing about jumping the pump relay, this overrides the saftey cut off if the engine stops (accident for example), so it„s really just a "limp home" thing to do. By the way, SAAB seems to be very expensive on spare parts i UK, in Sweden the same relay is about 60 £. /Mats On 23 Jul 2001 05:47:30 -0700, snotfairnopsamail.com ('arry) wrote: >The fuel pump relay on my 1987 900 turbo 8v has started to become a >little unreliable.
