Subject: brake/clutch fluid reservoir in OG 900

As I stated in another post, my brake pedal is really soft. For the last couple of days, the brakes can "grab" right away when I hit the pedal, or the pedal can travel what feels like 2 or 3 inches before the brakes work. I feel like I'm not getting power assistance when the pedal travels like this. Brakes were all new (rotors and calipers) about 6 months ago. Today, my brake fluid light flashed on once. When I parked and checked the fluid, it was so full that it was seeping out the seam in the reservoir. Does this mean the master cylinder is indeed shot, or the brakes just need to be bled as someone else said??? Thanks again for any info. I am on a limited budget for the next couple of weeks and hoping I can get by with only bleeding the brakes, not paying for a new master cylinder. -jw -- john s. webster freelance writing svcs. 218 waterman st. #306c providence, rhode island 02906 phone/fax: (401) 273-5567 email: johnwebster1nopsamhlink.net
