Subject: Someone break it to me slowly...

I'm wondering if it is the end of the line for my 88-900T. Last night while driving home the thing overheated BIG TIME. I didn't notice the gauge and by the time I pulled over the car was stalling and steam was everywhere. For a moment I thought maybe it was on fire but it was just a ton of steam. I've never seen anything like it in my life. Got a tow home. Even started it to move it from the street to the driveway when it got off the ramp truck. It started kind of rough and ran a bit rough. Only ran it for about 30 seconds though. Let it sit overnight and this morning filled the water and tried to start it. I'm scared because I can't get it to start and the cooling system seems to pressurize while it is turning over. If I loosen the cap on the reservoir while trying to start it the water will come bubbling out! Have I blown it? I am seriously bumming. :( Any thoughts to save my baby would be appreciated!
