I use Halfords synthetic, it is not that expensive. > > Johannes I agree. I use 10W40 Castrol Magnatex (fully synthetic) and I noticed the difference immediately. Greg, if you do move from mineral to synthetic be aware that the mineral deposits that build up in the engine may be come loose leaving you with a few "holes" that the new oil can seep through. Don't be tempted to try one of those "engine seal" products to remedy it - the advice I got was that turbos do not like additives. If your oil filter is doing its job, these additives will be filtered out anyway. Regards, Paul
