I don't know where your paranoia comes from but, after nine years of doing this with three cars, I have no reason to be so obsessed. In these recent years where I rarely have to put my head under the hood, my cars have been as, or more, reliable than ever. I do appreciate the satisfactions of a 'hands-on' involvement (which I apply to other areas of interest) but I see no reason here. I don't pump my septic tanks or clean the rain gutters on my house, either. Kal
