Subject: Noisy 9000



I have a 91 9000 2.3T that's started to make a sort of whirring/rubbing
noise when I drive along the road and as I get faster the noise gets louder.
The noise disappears though when I depress the clutch
 and when I lift the clutch again the noises starts up again When I  park
and rev the engine its fine, no noise at all.  It goes into gear no problem
and doesn't jump out.  The clutch also seems to be fine, no slipping.
I has just been MOTd so the wheel bearings etc are OK.
I would greatly appreciate any assistance
