Anyway it (2.3 LPT SE Auto) has just had the 30000 mile service. No problems apart from a leaking offside (UK) tailgate light cluster; replaced under warranty so no cost to me. Previous owner (a personal friend) averaged 30mpg on largely motorway driving. I get between 25 and 28mpg on more congested roads, mainly depends on how much work the AC is doing. Performance is good with far more speed and acceleration than I need, not that I am complaining! As an aside, the previous owner has still not found a suitable replacement. He has rented Mercedes, Volvo and probably others without finding anything he likes. -- Julian
