To the heretic: This is a Saab forum. No one is permitted to say that another car is more reliable than a Saab.:-) I will concur with your statement about the strength of the Saab versus the 626. My father has a 626 and a dog ran out in front- the dog won! My father found out how much the headlights, grill and fender cost - the dog just walked away. I don't if anyone remembers the sports cast where they showed a wide receiver running into the side of a pickup used by the camera crew. The side of the truck was smashed in and the football player just got up and ran back to the next play. They refused to identify the truck - I wonder why.
