There is a para in larry's web page: "Beware, also that it is fairly easy to convert a 900 into an SPG lookalike. I did much of this work on my Viggen. There is no particular code in the VIN to indicate the SPG. Only Saab has that information that can confirm if a particular car was originally built as an SPG." Johannes
