These appear to be similar tires, with the Pilot Alpin costing about 35% more for the same size tire. The Pilot Alpin is an HR rate tire while the Arctic Alpin in a QR rated tire. I would think the Pilot Alpin would be as good, if not better than the Arctic Alpin.
