Subject: 1986 900S Fuel Pump Relay? Where is it?

I did a direct connect from the battery to the fuel pump and it does start and run. The fuel pump relay on this thing is a little confusing as the mechanics book says that the relay goes into slot "G" but the fuse/relay case cover says that "G" is for the fog lamps (I did put a relay in that slot and I get nothing)? Thing is, there are no fog lamps on this car and I'm not sure why it's labeled this way??? I checked the fuse and it's not blown. Anyone else know where a fuel pump relay would go besides in the fuse compartment? Thanks... 1986 Saab 900S 4 Cyl. 16 Valve
