It is quick and simple. You can access the lights by loosening the two screws that hold the speaker grille, and lifting the grille. It's a bit difficult to see the bulb housing(s) if you are a first-timer (a small hand-held mirror might help). It is a round dime-sized knob and its location will be directly behind where the bulb sits (the bulb is housed directly in it). Reach in with your hand and give it a quater-turn (counter-clockwise) - it should come right out with bulb attached. You can get a replacement bulb at any auto parts store. To install repeat above in reverse. When replacing the grille, be sure to match up the heating vent with the flexible plactic tube in which it sits (easier than it sounds).
