The same thing took me by surprise when I 1st started driving the Swede. However, it is nothing to worry about. Nothing is broken. The Dash lights are always on. It is a safety feature. So enjoy it, knowing that you will never have to turn them on again. FWIW, since the headlights turn off with the car, I leave mine on full time. It is safer that way. Craig
