Hmm, would everyone include Japan, England, South Africa, India, Asia, Australia, NZ,, hmm should I go on ... ;-) >Here in Sweden we quit driving on the left side > and started driving on the right side in September 1967. Yeah I know, you crazy Swedes. That's because most of you guys are indoors trying to keep warm all year ;-) I think England had considered swapping, especially as it is as good as joined to Europe, however the infrastucture costs given modern motorways..on off ramps etc, and whatever else, is considered too high and too dangerous. YIKE!! Here in Australia, no problem, most of us drive all over the place anyway, but you're suggesting by inference that we'll then need to go out and buy LHD cars. Like Hello.. just bought a new car!! lol > > Imagine > > having the igition swith on the left hand side of the steering column as an > > example!??. > > This is the case with Porche 911, and perhaps other Porche models as well.
