If you really want DRL's, try putting the DRL fuse back in. If the previous owner disconnected them this way, they'll just start working again. Saab DRL's are just like putting the headlights on normally. In fact, the only difference is that the highbeam switch will not stay on unless you switch the headlights on. It is also possible that the previous owner had the headlight switch reprogrammed. I had mine done, so that I could get parking lights OR headlights, in any combination with the foglights, that I wanted. If the previous owner did this, it might act differently when you put the fuse back in. >> 3) If I use the keyless entry to lock the car but then I use my key to >> unlock the car, the alarm goes off. This seems kind of silly to me. Is >> it supposed to work this way? > When you lock the car with the remote, it also triggers the engine computer and fuel locks. If someone sets off the alarm, the engine computer and the fuel pump refuse to work. So, no one can steal you car after setting off the alarm (unless they have a ramp truck). It's easy to break into a car by smashing a window or using a jimmy on the door lock. But, if the alarm goes off, they can't steal the car. The downside to this system is that if your remote dies in a remote place, you can't start the car, even with the key. Bob
