Subject: 95 900SE Turbo -- New owner questions

I recently purchased a 95 Saab 900SE-T. Waaaaaaay cool! It took a little while to get used to driving it because it works differently than other cars I've owned, but I must say I am one happy Saab owner. So, I have a few questions that I couldn't find addressed in the owners manual and I hope you can enlighten me. 1) Why would I want to use the Dead-Lock feature? 2) The daytime running lights have been disconnected, but that doesn't bother me because the regular lo-beam lights switch off when the ignition is turned off. Since I like running with my lights on I just leave the switch turned on. Is this a bad idea? 3) If I use the keyless entry to lock the car but then I use my key to unlock the car, the alarm goes off. This seems kind of silly to me. Is it supposed to work this way? That's all for now. Thanks in advance. eric
