What the dealer said about the car adapting to the octane rating is quite probably true, but using leaded fuel will clog up the catalytic converter and effectively destroy this expensive part! If you have already used leaded fuel, you should make your dealer pay for a new converter, since he/she has misinformed you. -- Timothy
