If you are handy with a screwdriver you can fix the seats yourself. Check out the electrical connections first to ensure that there is a power supply to the seat heating element (connection under seat) If there isn't trace the fault back through the wiring. If there is check out the following link, which has a procedure for repairing the element in the seat. The article is for a 9000, but I suspect very similar to your 900.
