Headlamps -- 9-5One Saab service manager that I know said they were changing light bulbs on 9-5's at about 1.5 years. Fortunately for the customers, they were covered by warrantee. Here in the US the lights are changing to Xenon lights in MY2002. If they don't last longer than 1.5 years, GM/Saab is going to be hurting since Xenon lights are expensive. The oddest thing happened to me at the SAAB dealership the other day when I was getting my oil changed and my brake pads replaced. One of my headlamps burned out. It didn't burn out until I picked up the car. The 2 service people were very nice to change it immediately and with the least amount of hassle. However, they said they would change BOTH bulbs because they usually burn out within days of each other!!! Now, here's my thing. I have a 2000 9-5 Aero with 25,500 miles on it. I've never heard of bulbs burning out so fast!!! I mean... Do I have to change my light bulbs every 1.5 years?!?!?!?! It's weird. --
