A "giveaway", and still a lot of 1998 Supras > were around on dealer lots in summer 1999. Why? Simple. The C5 Vette. The C5 Vette had nothing to do with it. The Vette and the Supra had two different audiences...The Vette appealed to the middle-aged, balding, impotent males, while the Supra appealed more to the younger, energetic, more spirited individuals, and they naturally had less money, so not all of them could afford it, ergo less sales.
