For four model years, the Supra was priced along the lines I indicated. For the last year, Toyota slashed prices. You may be too young to remember 1994 through 1997, but take my word for it, I was there. The Supra didn't sell at any price. And it only fell below forty grand in the last year. A "giveaway", and still a lot of 1998 Supras were around on dealer lots in summer 1999. Why? Simple. The C5 Vette.
