One feels positively naked without a belt on. Even the crims wear them. OF COURSE a seat belt is the major line of defence in protecting one's body, however, without an airbag, in a crash as previously described, the neck wrenches so far forward that the head and/or face hits the steering wheel or the breaking windcreen/structure moving *apparantely* backwards, causing incredible injuries. IMHO an airbag is the last line of defence. I'm walking proof, and I wish no other to see what I saw from those individuals whose car's were not airbag equipped. If they need to be checked or replaced every 10 years, good. The drivers you treated who were not wearing seatbelts I'm sure will have learnt from their foolishness, and if still alive, will forever wear seat belts in the future. Davo airbag & seatbelt advodcate ;-)
