Subject: 1994 900SE Air sensor and Check engine light

Hi, I just bought a 1994 900SE with 100,000 miles. I have two problems. 1: If the car sits for more than 2 days the battery dies and it needs to be jumped, then it runs fine. I think that the automatic air senor in the car runs while the car is off and therefore drains the battery. Anyone have this problem? Should I replace the senosor myself or jam a toothpick in it to stop the fan? Which I hear is a solution. 2: The check engine light blinks once pauses then blinks again four times. What is this trying to tell me? Thanks, Matt
