Subject: Re: Any word on a Saab Diesel?

There has been a 2.2 turbo diesel in the Uk since 1998, and the 9-5 has just been handed a choice of diesels coinciding with the changes to the 2002 model. 3.0V6 diesel, or the same 2.2 from the 9-3. The choice is yours - the 3.0V6 has almost as much torque as the 9-5 Aero... drove one yesterday - VERY impressed. Not as economic as the best Audi diesels, but there again, it's a nicer car than an A6!!! (Please don't start those arguments again either! Toyata v Saab is getting a little dull - pansy jap versus pig-iron Swede, no comparison, no competition!)
