However, SAAB did have the Sonnet II and III in production during the late 60's and early 70's. I'd classify those as true sports cars. Disagree on some of the finer details if you like, but it is my opinion. Anyhow, the Sonnett IV may be on it's way soon, bringing back a true SAAB sports car - one can only hope. The Viggens[took one out for a test drive in 2000 - Ass kicking acceleration, btw] and SPGs[happen to own one] are wonderful sports sedans, and I don't think that they are softened up that much for comfort by any means.
