Subject: Re: Question about heated seats

I have successfully repaired the heated driver seat in my 97 900SE. I used the info on the various Saab net sites but it was easier than I was led to believe (Maybe it won't actually cost that much at the dealer then?) Eliminate all fuses and connectors first. It is most likely the heater element wire that snakes around inside the seat bottom cushion. Mine had an open causing "no warmth". I used standard tools and a "no solder" barrel crimp connector to repair the heater element and now it's working fine again. I can give details to anyone interested. - Dave "BDL955" <bdl955nopsamcom> wrote in message news:20011020214447.14715.00000421nopsamb.aol.com... > I bought a 98 900SE convt this summer.
