I don't know if they are bored of sitting around the office and want to drive a little or what, but they seem to think that a test drive means watching them drive. They also take you on these tight little test courses they have worked out with the instructions from the Salesman's manual "all right turns, avoid traffic lights, and turn the radio on as soon as the car is started to cover up any odd sounds" (substitute left turns if you drive on the 'other' side from us in the USA). The dealers that I've actually bought cars from said "here are the keys, try it out, let me know what you think". Off I go, and I often buy. -- Bob United We Stand
