Joseph, Try Larry Daniels over in Mariemont. I hear that there are a few good techs there. Also, you might try Just Saab North. My father has had a bit better luck there. As for ideas that may be causing your problem. I would make sure that the APC system hoses are connected and not split. Yours are probably of silicone and are probably fine, though. I would make sure that the knock sensor connector is cleaned and that you are running premium fuel. I would replace the fuel filter if the problem persists. I would replace the spark plugs with new, proper NGK brand plugs as listed in the owner's manual. I would inspect the DI cassette to see if there is any indication that the seals have failed and the oil leaked out. Good luck "Joseph Hoh" <jhohnopsam.com> wrote in message news:5012f290.0111012121.f4beb31nopsaming.google.com... > I am not very savvy when it comes to cars, but I will try to include > as much information as I believe is pertinent. > > I have a '97 Saab Aero 2.3L Turbo Automatic with 82,000 miles. > > Issue (about 2 weeks old): > When cruising in 3rd or 4th gear (40-60 mph), and I punch the gas, the > turbo indicator goes just into the yellow/red alternating area (never > above), and the vehicle stutters briefly, but continuously.
