My brakes seem to engage at 2 distinctly different pedal positions. Most of the time, the brakes start taking effect at a fairly high position above the floor. But sometimes they don't start to bite until a position about an inch lower--maybe more. This seems to be quite random. My Saab dealer said this not typical of master cylinder failure. I just had all 4 rotors replaced and I think this problem corresponds to that repair--I think, possibly not. Ideas? Dave 89 900S 170K
