Lea15 <lea15nopsamcom> pressed random keys until the following was produced: >>But, the million dollar question: has anyone ever heard of a knee >>injury from impacting the column mounted key ? One of my patients that I sent in actually had one of her keys impaled in behind the patella, and we had to cut the keyring (tricky) and stabilize the whole joint, while taking her out of the car & not bending her leg. It's not easy to get someone out of a semi-crumpled car, without bending their right leg. Jaws of Life is a marvellous thing, though. Removed the roof, removed the door, put a chain on the steering column (*after* disconnecting her from the keyring), pulled the steering column up and towards the front of the car, backed the seat all the way back, and got about 4 guys on her to get her out. Messy and uncomfortable, to be sure. Dave
