So any talk about aircraft manufacturing expertise being applied to Saab automobiles is meaningless. When GM makes Saabs, and Saab automobile manufacturing has no connection with aircraft, it seems to me that it makes little sense to talk about the application of aircraft manufacturing expertise to Saab automobiles -- or to draw any conclusions about what fighter jets would be like if they were built by GM. I hate to be the skunk at the garden party, but there it is.
