I need to replace the plastic chrome strip on the front bumper ("fender" in US?) of my '96 9000CSE. The old strip seems to be held at the ends by a spring and/or clip hidden in the bumper next to the plastic compression joints. Is there a simple way to fit the new strip, or do I have to remove the whole front bumper to get at it? Any ideas on a simple way to replace this trim would be appreciated. TIA Gerry Southampton, UK
