Look to see if the flag insulators to the bulb have melted at all. Things get so hot that the springs holding the bulbs in place lose their tempering, so the bulb gets loose, poor earth, intermittent lighting.....Yoy may notice that you seem to keep losing headlamp alignment too Chris
