I know what the problem is .... the non return valve in the fuel pump is faulty... or the accumator si leaking and then it causes all the fuel to drain back into the tank leaving the line, metering head and injectors empty I am guessing after you re-start it when its warm .. it starts instantly for a second or so then you crank it over forever ?? Bosch actually sell a replacement non-return valve let me know On Tue, 27 Nov 2001 04:50:32 GMT, "andrew" <rowatnopsamglefish.org> wrote: >I purchased a second-hand 1985 Saab at the end of August, and most of its >issues have been resolved, save one: the dreaded intermittant start problem. > >The car will generally start on the first crank in the morning (cold start), >but will often not re-start if I have driven it long enough to get the temp >up, and then left it for an hour or so.
