Dan, The sprayer for windshield wipers on my 89 900s also stopped working a few weeks back. . Fuses were all fine, when I pressed the control, could hear that pump motor was running in a manner that seemed to sound fine, only there was no fluid coming out on my windshield. Bought wiper fluid thinking, OK I must have run out. Went to fill up resevoir only to find it over 1/2 way full. Pressed control again to see what was up and felt water drop hit my elbow. Looked up and found that all the water/fluid was escaping because the "Y-shaped" hose connector found on the inside of the hood had become old, brittle and had a section that had a break in it and was coming off. Went and bought a 3/16 Yshaped Hose Connector for $1.59, reattached hoses and all is well. I'm not really a "car person", but I did have what sounds like a similar problem as you.
