I do not always agree with the opinion of Consumer Reports either, as it can be very subjective. For example, CR used to dock the Mercury Villager minivan a few points because it was smaller than other vans. But should size necessarily be a rating criteria on minivans? But on the other hand, CRs reliability data is based on questionnaires sent out to subscribers, thus an objective assessment.
