It is also the year that the reliability ratings on > Saabs from JD Power began to rise. well i dont want to start another OG vs. NG discussion, but did you ever thought of that maybe GM has some influence on these ratings.. i am driving a MY89 9000, thats far away from 94 and i went through 1 clutch, 1 heater fan unit, 2 batteries some tires and brakes and one repair on the fuel tank gasket. i dont consider 3000$ of repairs in over 10 years alot. also that doesnt count for reliabilty in my opinion. i never had any problem, and i know that most other owners have even less repairs with more mileage, i just have 120.000 miles on the car. just look through the archive of this NG, you will notice alot of post-94 cars owners posting about problems resulting from design flaws, like THE CLUTCH or take a look at some threads above (leaking coolant at 50K miles) just talking about exploding belts .... well in any case, you can always have good or bad luck. there are well maintained and good in form 95 cars i would say its okay to buy.. just really really avoid the V6 engine. bye simon putz
