Having discovered that they're just differently stroked engines (thanks guys), would anyone care to venture an opinion as to which is the better ?! (Criteria: outright acceleration unimportant; I'm inclined to 2.0 but not struggling with 4 adults + luggage is important. I'm also interested in fuel economy - those urban/extra-urban things don't seem to mean much, if extra-urban is the "ideal" 56 mph - anyone know what the mpg's are at say 70 mph ? (I emailed saab but they claim they don't have those figures, which I struggle to believe - I'd expect them to know a great deal about the engines they've designed, including fuel efficiency at more than two points on a curve!)). g.
