Subject: 9-3 2001 troubles

4 months ago I bought my first 9-3. It is a 2.0 lpt Business Edition (with LPG). Since the first day I had a lot of problems with this car: 1) Less power and the motor doesn't run smoot (not in balance, noise). The dealer "repaired" it. The problem was that one cilinder didn't work (only 20% on a test). Every time they tried to fix the problem (something with injection) the problem was solved for 2 or 3 days. (about 300km). Then the same problem appeared. They still can't fix it (after 5 attempts!!!) They replaced almost everything (computer, injectionthings exhaust, lamda etc.) 2) Rear seat makes noise. It doesnt fit. It moves a few milimeters. After 4 repair attempts the problem is still there. ( I had the leather seats build in afterwards bij the dealer. ) 3) Water in the headlights. It looks like an aquarium. Replacing the headlights didn't solve the problem. Water keeps running in. 4) Rear suspension makes a lot of metal cracking noise. (3 attempts trying to fix, no solution). 5) Headlights dim every few minutes when the ACC turns on. They also dim when i put the windows up or down. I know for certain that this is my first and my last Saab. I thought I bought some quality. The dealer wont take the car back and I'm not happy to sue the dealer. My questions: Does anybody recognize any of these problems? Does anybody know more about the Business Edition as sold in The Netherlands. According to the dealer is it 9-3 SE for the German market, except the leather. The German dealers couldnt sell these cars and they came to the Netherlands. On the side of the car there is the SE logo. Ben
